A little about Laura…

I’m a wife, mama to four pretty incredible humans — Grayson, Remi, Rhett & Georgia — and the photographer behind Laura Lyn Photography.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me at our little slice of heaven, affectionately known as The Laffey Ranch, where there’s always a child, horse, dog, or some other creature keeping life interesting.

A few things you should probably know about me:

I somehow made it through four children without learning to like coffee, which I’m fairly certain qualifies as a superpower.

I’m happiest with a camera in my hand, on the back of a horse, or sitting behind my sewing machine pretending I don’t have seventeen other things I should probably be doing.

And I firmly believe time moves entirely too fast.

The babies get bigger. The little faces change. The seasons that once felt endless somehow become the ones we wish we could have back.

That’s what made me fall in love with photography.

I don’t just want to create beautiful pictures for you. I want to preserve the personalities, connections, tiny details and wonderfully imperfect moments that make your family yours.

Because someday, photographs have a beautiful way of taking us right back.
